Chanel "N5 in a New Light"

Chanel N5 In a New Light exhibition opened in New York City for one week only, and of course i attended how could i not go, Chanel is my favorite designer of all times, my designer icon and Chanel N5 is my favorite perfume.

Chanel N5 might be the most recognizable fragrance on the planet, what a way for Chanel to celebrate the legendary perfume by opening this one week exhibition right here in New York City for a week.

N5 in a New Light allowed us visitors to discover the various aspects of the iconic perfume "Let your senses guide you through the illumination of an icon"

N5 In A New Light.

Created by Coco Chanel and Earnest Beaux in 1921, N5 was revolutionary in that it was made for the flappers of the 20s.

Chanel wanted " a woman's perfume with a woman's scent"

While the combination of multiple floral notes was forward thinking for the time.

Beaux also added the synthetic compounds called aldehydes which made N5 "Sparkle"

Chanel gave the fragrance a new style bottle with a diamond stopper, which has hardly been altered in 95 years.

I definitely wore my Chanel classic handbag and matching Chanel stud earrings.

After the exhibition i had the chance to make my own personalized Chanel N5 postcards, which i loved because i made so many and send them out to my close friends, they are all over i have truly met some wonderful friends i keep in touch with no matter the distance.
