QVC Presents FFANY Shoes on Sale Gala.

Tuesday night on October 19th, 2015 marked the 22th Anniversary of one of the biggest charity events in the footwear industry, QVC Presents ‘FFANY Shoes On Sale’.
QVC hosted their annual gala in which they sell high end designer shoes for half off the suggested retail price at the Waldorf Astoria and all the net proceeds go to Breast Cancer research and awareness. In addition to the gala, QVC sells thousands of other brands that donated free shoes to QVC Live & QVC.com This year the LIVE broadcast is Oct. 22th from 6-9pm est so tuned in later on today to get some great deal on shoes for a cure guys.

My Gala experience was fabulous! What’s not to love about it…discounted shoes a girls dream, a great dinner, star guests walking the Pink Carpet and of course lot's of delicious of treats and dancing to end the night.

This year the Spokesperson was Cheryl Burke who hosted the evening and she was such a doll! Some of the guests that attended was Jeannie Mai, Fern Mallis, Tommy Hilgfigher, Beth Stern, Allison Williams, Terry J. lundgren, Louise Camuto, Sam & Libby Edelman and many more.

The evening was simply fantastic, inspiring and fabulous and you can relive my evening with all my photos below, enjoy!

Over the 20+ years QVC and FFANY have generated more than $47 Million for the cause and they plan to keep on adding!

The Gala truly had amazing designer shoes on sale for half price with proceeds going to the cause. You know i loved the pink carpet which was for the celebrities and i got to walk it.

QVC invited me as a special guest, i was so honored and they also mention how incredible an eye for style i have, i enjoyed the cocktail hour, a free pair of designer shoes on them, yes you read right a FREE pair of designer shoes, how cool is that right? they sure know how to make a girl feel special as a guest.

Then there was a special presentation, speeches and a delicious sit down dinner and yummy desserts, i was also allowed a plus one, i invited my friend and fellow blogger Alexa Alfonso who was grateful  to support this cause because Alexa lost her grandmother to cancer so this gala was very close to her heart on this night.

I think this was one of my biggest highlights of the night, besides scoring a fabulous pair of knee high boots that actually fits my skinny legs was seeing my name on the seating list amongst all the other fabulous celebrities and CEO's that attended the gala.

Vince Camuto Honored With ‘Shoes On Sale’ Humanitarian Award 

Terry Lundgren presented the award to Louise Camuto – who accepted the honor on her late husband's behalf.

“Vince was so humble. He never talked about what he did,” she said. “This acknowledgement is a huge honor because he was a great human being, and he helped so many people. Everyone who met him or worked with him speaks of him as a mentor.”

Before everyone headed to the coat check floor to grab their shoe purchases for the night, they handed out some cute little boxes with desserts to take home and this lovely tote from Vince Camuto which had all of these lovely gifts that are display on this picture.
